Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy License.
• At least 1 year consecutive experience treating children/adolescents in an educational setting.
• Must be comfortable using a computer and completing documentation to school district standards.
• Current clearances (within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy per the student's IEP across settings.
• Administer OT assessments to determine functioning relative to age and placement.
• Analyze assessment data to guide instructional planning and improvement.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive services.
• Serve on the school's MDT/IEP teams and consult with staff and parents.
• Maintain required documentation and school district records.
• Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.

What you’ll do as an Occupational Therapist (OT).

• Implement specialized therapy treatment in accordance with the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Administers occupational therapy assessments to determine a student's level of functioning relative to their age and educational placement in a variety of areas
• Analyze and interpret assessment data and facilitate the use of the data as a guide for operative instruction to improve student skills
• Collaborates alongside a multidisciplinary team including special education staff, classroom teachers, and other service providers to ensure continuity and consistency in providing comprehensive services to students
• Serves as a member of the school's multidisciplinary team, IEP program team, and offer consultation and collaboration with school staff and parents in support of student's goals
• Completes, updates, and maintains required documentation
• Perform other appropriate duties as assigned
