Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a part-time, onsite School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students and school teams on ESY. This role offers guaranteed hours and a pathway to provide essential school-based therapy in Abingdon, MD.

The candidate should hold a Master’s in OT from an ACOTE-accredited program and a current state license or be able to obtain one. Prior school experience is preferred but not mandatory; ED/HEALTH benefits and extensive support are provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from ACOTE accredited university is required.
• Active state licensure and/orCertification OR ability to obtain licensure is required or encouraged.
• Experience in schools or with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services to exceptional children students.
• Evaluates, screens, and observes students.
• Writes evaluation reports, progress notes, and individualized education plans.
• Communicates and coordinates therapy with parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Performs other related tasks as required.
