Job summary

EDU Healthcare is hiring a school-based Occupational Therapist for a role that begins part-time and transitions to a full-time schedule in January. This opportunity is ideal for an OT seeking a lighter start while securing a full-time position for the second half of the school year.

Based in Greenwood, SC, the OT will work in a school setting with exceptional students, collaborate with teachers and families, and support students' educational goals through occupational therapy services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from ACOTE accredited university.
• Active state licensure and/or certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience with schools or children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services to exceptional children students.
• Evaluates, screens, and observes students.
• Writes evaluation reports, progress notes, and individualized education plans.
• Communicates and coordinates therapy with parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Performs other related tasks as required.
