Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to join a collaborative special education team for the upcoming school year in Baltimore, MD.

You will evaluate and treat students, prepare IEPs and progress notes, coordinate with families and school staff, and participate in ongoing training. Qualifications

• Master’s degree from ACOTE accredited university.
• Active state-level licensure and/or certification OR ability to obtain.
• Experience working in schools or with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services to exceptional children students.
• Evaluates, screens, and observes students.
• Writes evaluation reports, progress notes, and individualized education plans.
• Communicates and coordinates therapy with parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Performs other related tasks as required.
