Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a school-based opportunity in Ypsilanti, MI. Help students develop the skills and independence they need to participate in the classroom and throughout their school day.

As an Occupational Therapist with EDU Healthcare you will evaluate, screen, and observe students; write evaluation reports, progress notes, and individualized education plans; and collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to coordinate therapy services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from ACOTE accredited university.
• Active state-level licensure and/or certification OR ability to obtain.
• Experience working in schools or with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services to exceptional children students.
• Evaluates, screens, and observes students.
• Writes evaluation reports, progress notes, and individualized education plans.
• Communicates and coordinates therapy with parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Performs other related tasks as required.
