Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct and consultative services in a school setting near Burbank, CA. The role covers elementary and secondary sites, up to 40 hours per week, starting ASAP through the anticipated end of October.

Responsibilities include delivering OT services per IEPs, evaluating students, documenting, and collaborating with teachers and families to support student success in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California.
• Experience working in schools preferred.
• Comfortable supporting mild/moderate to extensive student needs.
• Ability to thrive in elementary and secondary campus environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, staff, and families.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Delivering direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
• Traveling to elementary and secondary school sites as scheduled.
• Evaluating students, completing documentation, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary school teams.
• Supporting teachers and families with resources and strategies for student success in the classroom.
• Maintaining timely and accurate student records.
