Job summary

The Lewiston School District is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our special services team in Lewiston, Idaho. The OT leads the development, implementation, and coordination of the school-based occupational therapy program, including assessment, intervention, IEP planning, discharge planning, and related documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Occupational Therapist license.
• Eligibility to obtain a Pupil Service Staff certificate endorsed as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in school-based OT is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and coordination of the school OT program.
• Provide OT assessment, evaluation, intervention, and IEP planning and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with staff, parents and related service providers.
• Carry out evaluations and ensure compliance with district policies and confidentiality.
• Support OT goals within classrooms and collaborate with classroom staff.
