Job summary

Capital Area Intermediate Unit in Shermans Dale, PA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for Carroll Elementary to support student motor, self-help, and participation in classroom activities. Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• Valid PA Occupational Therapy License.
• Knowledge of special education practices in OT.
• Full certification in Safe Crisis Management (SCM) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual evaluations for sensorimotor, self-help, and behavioral needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation/re-evaluation per CAIU procedures.
• Contribute to development of IEP goals, objectives, and service recommendations.
• Deliver services including monitoring, consultation, and therapy within school programs.
• Coordinate with families and school staff to implement OT plans.
• Maintain documentation and confidentiality in accordance with CAIU policies.
