Job summary

Partners in Special Education is seeking a licensed occupational therapist to lead the school's OT program under general supervision. You will screen, evaluate, implement, and coordinate therapy services to support students with disabilities in daily activities and school participation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with educators and families, adaptation of environments and assistive technology, and development of IEP and intervention plans.

Qualifications

• Current California OT license required.
• Minimum two years’ school-based occupational therapy experience.
• Experience delivering services virtually preferred.
• Ability to provide in-person and online services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted, evidence-based OT intervention to facilitate participation and performance in school.
• Consult with school-based team to achieve student outcomes.
• Adapt environments and train staff to meet individual needs for independence.
• Educate students, staff, and families on occupations, health and safety.
• Monitor and reassess effects of therapy and modify plans as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to develop IEP and intervention plans.
• Document OT services to ensure accountability and reimbursement compliance.
