Job summary

DirectedLINK LLC is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist for a 1-year contract in Auburn, WA. The OT will support two school sites with approximately three days at one and two days at the other, beginning Sept 9, 2026, including a half-day training prior to start.

The role requires a Master’s in OT, WA OT license, and IEP-related expertise. Strong collaboration with educators and families is essential to meet student needs under IDEA regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Washington State OT license.
• Washington Educational Staff Associate certification or ability to obtain.
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based OT practices.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Onsite Monday through Friday for a 37.5-hour workweek across two sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations using appropriate assessment tools and methods.
• Interpret assessment findings and contribute to decisions regarding eligibility for OT services.
• Participate as an active member of IEP teams.
• Develop measurable OT goals aligned with student educational needs.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services per IEPs.
• Support student participation in classroom and school activities.
• Recommend and implement environmental modifications and assistive supports.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers.
• Monitor progress and modify interventions based on outcomes.
• Maintain evaluations, progress reports, service logs, Medicaid billing docs where applicable.
• Maintain compliance with IDEA, district policies, and professional standards.
• Manage caseload across two assigned school locations.
