Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students in a school-based setting in Auburn, WA for the 2026–2027 year. This onsite role works within the Tumwater School District, following a Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings or weekend commitments.

The OT will focus on functional skills, fine motor development, sensory processing, and independence in school tasks, partnering with teachers and families to implement IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Active Washington State OT license or ability to obtain it.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Support students with fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Washington State and district requirements.

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with a school district in the Tumwater area for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, onsite position offers a structured schedule, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to help students build essential life and academic skills.

About the Role

As a school-based OT, you will help students develop the functional skills needed to succeed in the classroom and daily activities. You'll work with a diverse caseload, supporting fine motor development, sensory processing, and independence with school-related tasks.
