Job summary

NiteLines USA is seeking a School-based Occupational Therapist (OT) in Auburn, WA, to support students with disabilities within educational programs. The role collaborates with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enable functional participation in IEP goals.

Licensed OT in Washington is required, with NBCOT and ESA certification preferred. This contract role runs through the school year with a 37.5 hour workweek at multiple school sites.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and active OT license in WA.
• ESA certification or eligible to obtain per hiring requirements.
• NBCOT certification; knowledge of IDEA/IEP processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations using appropriate assessment tools.
• Interpret assessment results and determine student eligibility for OT services.
• Participate as a member of the IEP team.
• Develop measurable OT goals and objectives within students' IEPs.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services according to IEPs.
• Support students' participation in classroom, school, and functional activities.
• Recommend and implement environmental modifications and adaptive equipment.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations.
