Qualifications

• Master's degree in occupational therapy or Bachelor’s in OT with school-based experience.
• Valid state licensure as an occupational therapist in good standing.
• NBCOT certification.
• Preference for candidates with experience in educational settings.
• Proficiency in sensory processing, fine motor, visual motor, and executive functioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to students as directed by IEPs, 504 plans, and MTSS.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and professionals to create tailored IEPs and MTSS.
• Implement individual and classroom-based interventions to support student needs.
• Monitor and document students' progress toward targeted objectives.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with research and best practices.
