Strides Therapy & Educational Services, a Maryland school-based OT provider, seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to support student development in educational settings. The role collaborates with teachers and families to promote participation and independence in the classroom and school activities.

The position offers a 12-month contract potential with up to 35 hours per week, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Maryland state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an OT.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based OT is desirable but not required.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, parents and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized OT plans.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve fine motor and sensory skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents and school team to support participation.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Educate parents and teachers on strategies to enhance skills.
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes and billing documentation.
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric OT and participate in meetings.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local OT regulations in schools.
