Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a contract Occupational Therapist to support students in elementary and high school settings near Brighton, CO. This onsite role offers a structured Tue-Fri schedule with Monday off, across two school levels.

You will assess and develop treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff. The position includes a 34-hour workweek with Mondays off and holiday-week Fridays off, plus healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.

Qualifications

• Active OT licensure required.
• Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy.
• Familiarity with occupational health and best practices in educational settings.
• Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services onsite three days per week at an elementary school and one day at a high school.
• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to support student development, participation, and success.
• Document progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines.
• Support students in developing functional skills for academic achievement and daily living.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultative input for student success.
