Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an onsite Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a charter school setting for the 2026-2027 school year. The contract is part-time (16 hours/week) with a flexible schedule and a focus on meaningful student impact.

You will work with a diverse caseload of about 20 students, collaborating with teachers, families, and educational staff while maintaining compliant records and contributing to IEP goals.

Qualifications

  • Current, active OT license required.
  • Previous experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educational staff, students, and families.
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans for varied age groups and needs.
  • Commitment to ethical, student-centered practice.

Responsibilities

  • Providing targeted OT interventions to support students academic and functional performance
  • Evaluating and documenting student progress toward individualized education plan (IEP) goals
  • Collaborating with teachers and special education staff on classroom strategies and accommodations
  • Maintaining detailed records and timely reports in compliance with school protocols
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise to team discussions
