Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active MT-BC certification or equivalent (ACMT, CMT, or RMT).
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to determine the need for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate evaluation findings to parents and district personnel.
• Develop evidence-based interventions with ARD committee for student success.
• Plan and deliver music therapy services aligned with IEPs.
• Monitor progress and maintain detailed records of student progress.
• Support ARD meetings and related discussions to advocate for special education programs.
