Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a school-based Music Therapist to empower students through therapeutic music interventions. You will assess needs, develop ARD-aligned interventions, and deliver therapy under IEP guidelines while tracking progress and collaborating with families and district staff.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Music Therapy with MT-BC certification and CPR, with bilingual skills preferred. Flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active MT-BC certification through CBMT or equivalent (ACMT, CMT, or RMT).
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to determine need for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate evaluation findings with parents and district personnel.
• Develop interventions with ARD committee to enhance student performance and access to education.
• Provide music therapy services aligned with IEPs.
• Monitor progress with data and maintain accurate records.
• Support ARD meetings, parent conferences, and related discussions.
