Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a school-based Music Therapist to bring the power of music to education. You will conduct evaluations, develop interventions with ARD, and deliver therapy aligned with each student’s IEPs in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

You will monitor progress, communicate findings to families and district staff, and advocate for comprehensive special education programs. Competitive pay and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active MT-BC or equivalent certification (ACMT, CMT, or RMT).
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to determine the need for specialized therapy services.
• Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel with clear insights.
• Collaborate with ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based interventions.
• Plan and deliver music therapy services aligned with IEPs.

• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and related discussions to advocate for programs.

Your Role:

Monitor Progress: Collect data and maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress to ensure interventions are effective.

Support Teams: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and enhance special education programs.
