Job summary

Wellpoint Care Network is seeking a Clinical Therapist - School Based Mental Health to deliver strength-based, trauma-informed psychotherapy in school and community settings throughout Greater Milwaukee. The role collaborates with families, schools, and partners to support youth wellbeing and stability.

The clinician will develop treatment plans, provide individual and group therapy, and coordinate with teachers and counselors to address student needs.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or equivalent (LCSW/LPC preferred).
• Two years post-master’s experience in individual, child, group and family therapy preferred.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License and reliable transportation for on-site learning across the state.
• Strong written and verbal communication; culturally humble and respectful.
• Proficient with computer software and database systems (e.g., MS Office, Outlook, Teams).
• Background checks, drug screen, and driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services (individual, family, group) in school-based clinics.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with clients, families, and school staff.
• Perform assessments and provide recommendations to guide treatment.
