Job summary

N.E.W. Community Clinic in Wisconsin seeks a licensed mental health professional to provide therapy services, crisis stabilization, and psychosocial screening for students and clients in our community.

This 10-month school-based position, under supervision, maintains electronic medical records, supports referrals, and collaborates with school staff to coordinate care. Occasional travel within Brown, Door and Kewaunee Counties may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work; Wisconsin licensure or in-training status.
• Experience with diverse populations and short-term interventions is desirable.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-admission screening and intake services.
• Maintain school-based therapy caseload and facilitate groups.
• Conduct psychosocial intake assessments and document psychiatric history.
• Develop treatment plans with identified needs and strengths.
• Assist with clinical and legal documentation under supervision.
• Provide psychoeducation to students and families.
• Coordinate referrals to higher levels of care as needed.
• Represent NEWCC in community trainings about mental health resources.
• Collaborate with SBMH Program Manager and school staff.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and timely chart closures.
