Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is hiring school-based Mental Health Therapists to work in Madison or Middleton-Cross Plains Area School Districts. You will join a multidisciplinary team including school psychologists, counselors, social workers, teachers and community partners to provide therapy in school clinics.

Responsibilities include assessing and treating children with mental health needs, developing individualized plans with the educational team, and using trauma‑informed, evidence‑based

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field is required and 3000 post-master hours experience preferred.
• Experience working with children and families in school or integrated health care settings is preferred.
• Licensure options include Social Worker Clinical, MFT, LPC, Psychologist or related Wisconsin licenses.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat children with mental health challenges through individual, group, and family therapy.
• Develop integrated, individualized treatment plans with families and school teams.
• Coordinate with educators and care teams, provide coaching on MBH topics.
• Provide consultation and training to school staff and administrators on mental health.

Education

Master's Degree in Social Work or related field
