Job summary

Balance Point Wellness, LLC provides school-based mental health therapy to children and adolescents in Baltimore County Public schools, as well as telehealth and community programs. Ideal candidates hold an LMSW/LCSW-C/LGPC/LCPC/LCMFT or psychology credential with Maryland licensure, and have experience in community-based settings; full-time W-2

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling is required.
• Current Maryland licensure that authorizes mental health treatment.
• Background check required prior to employment.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Experience in a community-based setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload and provide ongoing individual mental health therapy.
• Provide clinically appropriate therapy services to children and adolescents.
• Complete psychosocial assessments.
• Develop and update person-centered treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Complete timely contact notes and clinical documentation for all sessions.
• Document all services through our cloud-based EHR.
• Collaborate with school personnel, families, and other treatment team members.
• Provide services in accordance with professional standards and students’ needs.
