Balance Point Wellness is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare (ACHC) and operates as a community-based holistic mental health and wellness center. We provide counseling/psychotherapy, psychiatry, adventure therapy, and wellness services to individuals and families in Maryland, operating in Baltimore, Bel Air, Salisbury, and Hunt Valley. We also have a Telehealth division and a school-based program serving Baltimore County and Harford County Schools.

We seek licensed therapists (LMSW, LCSW‑C, LGPC, LCPC, LCMFT, Psychologist, etc.) to provide mental health therapy to children and adolescents in Baltimore County schools.

Compensation options: 10‑month salaried, fee‑for‑service, and 1099 positions. Fee‑for‑service and 1099 positions have no cap on how much you can make.

Job Responsibilities

Manage assigned caseload and provide ongoing therapy
Complete psychosocial assessments
Complete contact notes for completed sessions—documentation is completed in a cloud-based EHR
Develop person-centered treatment plans when necessary

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

Master’s or doctorate in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required
Licensed in Maryland to provide mental health treatment
Psychotherapy experience in a community setting preferred
Background check required
Highly organized and possesses strong time‑management skills
