Job summary

Balance Point Wellness, LLC in Maryland seeks licensed mental health therapists to provide services to children and adolescents in Harford County schools. You will conduct individual therapy, complete psychosocial assessments, and develop person-centered treatment plans with school staff.

We offer flexible scheduling and uncapped earning potential (fee-for-service and 1099). Eligible W-2 staff receive benefits, supervision, CE opportunities, and a supportive school-based program.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required.
• Current Maryland licensure to provide mental health treatment.
• Experience in a community-based setting preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check required.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload and provide ongoing individual mental health therapy.
• Provide clinically appropriate therapy services to children and adolescents.
• Complete psychosocial assessments.
• Develop and update person-centered treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Complete timely contact notes and clinical documentation for all sessions.
• Document all services through our cloud-based Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Collaborate with school personnel, families, and other treatment team members as appropriate.
• Provide services in accordance with professional standards and the needs of each student.
