Job summary
The Office of Mental Health within the State of South Carolina seeks a Mental Health Professional I to provide school-based counseling across Aiken and Barnwell Counties, embedded in each school setting. Qualifications
- Masters in guidance, counseling, or social sciences or related field.
- Must be licensed or eligible for LMSW/LMFT/LPC within first year.
- Credentialing and privileging as mental health professional required.
- Ability to lift 5 pounds and operate a state vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Provide school-based mental health counseling as embedded in schools.
- Develop and implement treatment plans; promote recovery and wellness.
- Complete clinical documentation using collaborative methods.
- Monitor patient functioning with the DLA-20 and track caseload
- Participate in supervision, meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- Ensure compliance with QA/OMH standards and policies.
