The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional (LMFT, LCSW or LPCC) to join our full-time school-based team in Irvine, CA. You will provide essential mental health services to students, helping them develop emotional, behavioral, and social skills to thrive academically and personally.

As a Mental Health Professional, you will collaborate with students, families, educators, and school support teams to address mental health concerns, implement intervention strategies,

Formación

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Active California LMFT/LCSW/LPCC license required.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred.
• School-based, pediatric, community mental health, or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, crisis intervention, and social-emotional learning.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individual, group, and family-focused mental health support services as appropriate.
• Conduct assessments and identify student mental health and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement intervention plans to support student well-being and success.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and behavioral support services as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address student needs.
• Support social-emotional learning initiatives and positive behavioral interventions.
• Participate in student support meetings, IEP meetings, 504 meetings, and other planning processes.
• Connect students and families with community resources and support services.
• Maintain timely documentation, case notes, and compliance records.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.

Educación

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field

Active California LMFT, LCSW or LPCC license

Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
