Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking School-Based Mental Health Professionals to deliver Tier 1–3 behavioral health supports directly in schools. Opportunities for full-time and part-time engagement allow you to work onsite, with immediate start and the chance to collaborate with dedicated school staff to extend and strengthen student services.

You will provide early intervention, diagnosis, and treatment within your licensure scope, collaborating with educators and care teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Licensed mental health professional in Michigan (LMSW/LLMSW/LPC/LLPC/LMFT)
• Ability to obtain required state clearances/background checks
• Experience with MTSS and trauma-informed care in schools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver Tier 1, 2, and 3 behavioral health supports to students.
• Provide early intervention, referrals, diagnosis, and treatment within licensure scope.
• Collaborate with school staff to support and enhance behavioral health services.
• Integrate into the school to extend current programs with clinical expertise.
• Apply research-based practices and cultural responsiveness.
• Follow FERPA and school guidelines to protect confidentiality.
• Consult with student support teams and stakeholders for each student.
• Participate in care coordination and service management.
