Job summary

Community Counseling Solutions seeks a School Based Counselor to provide behavioral health treatment within schools in Eastern Oregon. You will deliver group and individual counseling, prevention, and outreach to students across assigned districts under OAR guidelines.

The role supports collaboration with parents, educators and CCS clinicians to advance student well‑being and academic success, with a .83 FTE schedule and shifting hours during the school year.

Qualifications

• MHS IV: Doctorate in social work/psychology or related field, or master's with associated licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMFT).
• MHS III: Master’s degree in social work, psychology or related field.
• MHS II w/ Variance: Bachelor's degree and enrollment in a Master’s program within 4 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services including screening, assessment, individual and group therapy, and outreach.
• Coordinate with CCS clinicians and school teams to support student goals.
• Be a first responder to school crises and lead coping skills.
• Maintain client records and paperwork per OARs; assist in program development.
