Community Counseling Solutions seeks a School Based Counselor- Mental Health Specialist to provide behavioral health treatment to students in Eastern Oregon. The role supports school districts under CCS, aligned with Oregon Administrative Rules and CCS values.
The position offers multiple pay grades (MHS II, III, IV) with DOE-based salary ranges and a 2-year commitment, plus a bilingual premium and a one-time hiring bonus.

LOCATION: Fossil School District
FLSA: .415 FTE school based, exempt (Expectation to work 20 hrs/wk during school season)
SUPERVISOR: Clinical Supervisor
PAY GRADE: WAGES LISTED BELOW REFLECT THE PRO-RATED SALARY FOR A .83 FTE EMPLOYEE WORKING 40 hours per week with Summers off.
MHS IV – B12 ($31,083.50 – $46,770.50 annually, DOE) Exempt – Requires Doctorate or Licensure
MHS III – B11 ($28,303 – $42,454.50 annually, DOE) Exempt – Masters Required
MHS II w/ Variance – B09 ($23,779.50 – $35,026 annually, DOE) Non-Exempt (Hourly) – Must possess bachelors degree and be enrolled or willing to enroll in a Masters program within 4 months of hire.
Potential for 10% bilingual increase – Must pass a language test

Provides culturally competent and appropriate behavioral health treatment to students at school districts covered by CCS. The position provides treatment in accordance with the Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR’s) and the mission and values of CCS. The position works closely with the school and community partners;
