Qualifications

• Masters required for MHS III; Doctorate or licensure required for MHS IV
• Bachelor's degree required for MHS II with a Masters program within 4 months of hire
• Potential for 10% bilingual increase – language test required

JOB TITLE: School Based Counselor- Mental Health Specialist III or IV

LOCATION: Fossil School District

FLSA: .415 FTE school based, exempt (Expectation to work 20 hrs/wk during school season)

SUPERVISOR: Clinical Supervisor

PAY GRADE: WAGES LISTED BELOW REFLECT THE PRO-RATED SALARY FOR A .83 FTE EMPLOYEE WORKING 40 hours per week with Summers off.

MHS IV – B12 ($31,083.50 – $46,770.50 annually, DOE) Exempt – Requires Doctorate or Licensure

MHS III – B11 ($28,303 – $42,454.50 annually, DOE) Exempt – Masters Required

MHS II w/ Variance – B09 ($23,779.50 – $35,026 annually, DOE) Non-Exempt (Hourly) – Must possess bachelors degree and be enrolled or willing to enroll in a Masters program within 4 months of hire.

Potential for 10% bilingual increase – Must pass a language test
