Job summary

SBCS Corporation, operating in San Diego, seeks licensed or license-eligible therapists for the School-Based Skill Building program serving Medi-Cal eligible students in grades 4–8. The Clinician delivers evidence-based mental health services in office, school-based, and community settings.

Responsibilities include intake, assessment, therapy, case management, and collaboration with school personnel. Evening hours required once per week, with a 40-hour work week in a full-time role across M–F.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required with current BBS registration as LMFT/LMSW/LCSW/LPCC, or AMFT/ASW/APCC/ACSW.
• Active BBS license or intern number.
• Experience in individual, group, and family counseling.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed social-emotional therapy, including individual, family, and group therapy, and crisis intervention.
• Conduct intakes, assessments, and develop strengths-based treatment plans.
• Coordinate care and communicate with other providers and supports.
• Maintain accurate records in EHRs and meet reporting requirements.
• Support with outreach and participation in team and trainings.
