Job summary

Tumwater School District No. 33 seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Special Services in a temporary 8-hour/day role. The position runs 11/10/26 through 12/18/26 and offers competitive pay with duties tied to student health services.

Required WA LPN license, high school diploma or GED, and CPR/First Aid certification. Will work with the ESA nurse and school staff to support student health and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Washington State LPN License.
• Washington State Drivers license and State/FBI background clearance required.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer first aid, CPR, and emergency care to students; notify nurse and parents as required.
• Administer prescribed and non-prescription medicines; maintain daily log.
• Perform standard health care procedures including sterile techniques and injections.
• Coordinate vision and hearing screening and review immunization status.
