Qualifikationen

• Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 2 years experience counseling children and families.
• Knowledge and skills in: needs of children and families, identification of abused/neglected children and adults, child development, individual and family functioning; working with hard-to-reach individuals; collaborating with other disciplines; group dynamics and leading discussions.
• Training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy and Trauma-Informed Care preferred.
• Medicaid knowledgeable.

Aufgaben

• Provide outpatient counseling services to individuals, children, couples, families.
• Maintain caseload of 65–70 clients per fiscal year, with 30–35 Tier 2 and 3 clients.
• Provide professional case consultation to professionals involved in the client’s case.
• Report progress to school counselors twice a month.
• Attend staff meetings and supervision; participate in chart reviews and trainings.
• Follow all laws pertaining to in-school therapy.
