Intercept Health is seeking a Therapeutic Aide to support students in a local Virginia school district. The role involves working 1:1 or in small groups to implement behavior strategies that build coping and pro-social skills using trauma-informed approaches.
Requirements include a high school diploma and experience with children; a Bachelor's in Behavioral Science is preferred, with ABA experience a plus. Salary ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, with health/dental/vision benefits and paid time
Hourly compensation expectation is up to $20/hour (based on experience). Hours of availability required are Monday - Friday 7 AM - 4:00 PM.

As a Therapeutic Aide, you will work 1:1 or in a small group setting with clients inside a local school district. You will implement behavior principles to increase use of coping skills and pro-social skills in the school environment and decreasing unsafe or disruptive behavior using trauma-informed methods. You will observe client skills and collect data to be used in assessing the individual's skills and to develop their program goals. You will collaborate with school personnel, attend school-related meetings and provide coaching, training, and support to parents and/or caregivers in behavior management strategies to increase generalization of individual's skill sets.
The selected candidate will have at least a high school diploma and previous professional experience working with children. Bachelor's degree in Behavioral science is preferred; specific experience with children who have Autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or ABA experience, is a plus!
