Qualifications

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license is required.
• Pediatric NP Board Certification is preferred if applicable.
• Current CPR and Infection Control certifications.
• Medicaid/Medicare provider enrollment is required.
• NYC DOE fingerprint clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the school health program.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate clinical support staff.
• Provide primary care services to children and adolescents; conduct health assessments, exams, and screenings.
• Order and review diagnostic tests; develop treatment plans and patient education.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and community services; maintain medical records.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and healthcare teams; participate in quality improvement and staff meetings.
