WCS Healthcare Partners seeks a Coordinator of School Health Program- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in New York, NY. You will lead a school-based health program, provide pediatric primary care, supervise staff, ensure compliance, and manage operational and program planning tasks.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Pediatric NP Board Certification (if applicable).
• Current CPR and Infection Control certifications.
• Medicaid and Medicare provider enrollment required.
• NYC DOE fingerprint clearance required.
• 2 years of clinical experience.
• Previous supervisory or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the school health program
• Supervise, train, and evaluate clinical support staff
• Maintain supplies, medications, and medical equipment
• Monitor program quality, regulatory compliance, and reporting requirements
• Assist with budgeting, grant management, and program planning
• Build strong relationships with school personnel and community partners
• Provide primary care services to children and adolescents
• Perform health assessments, physical exams, and screenings
• Order and review diagnostic tests
• Develop treatment plans and provide patient education
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and community services
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and healthcare teams
• Participate in quality improvement activities and staff meetings
• Support community outreach and health education initiatives
• Provide on-call phone coverage as scheduled
• Maintain all required licenses and continuing education requirements
• Participate in School Advisory Board activities as needed
