Job summary

Lynn Community Health Center seeks an Office Coordinator for its School Based Health Center (SBHC) in Lynn, MA. The role supports daily SBHC operations, coordinating medical and behavioral health tasks and ensuring smooth patient flow and data integrity.

You will assist with scheduling, consent forms, insurance updates, and referrals, while collaborating with clinicians, school staff, and families to deliver coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Experience with adolescents/children in a school setting.
• Familiar with medical terminology and health care/mental health settings.
• Strong computer/typing skills; proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of the SBHC including Behavioral Health and Medical tasks.
• Maintain and organize patient registration forms and provider notes; manage data collection.
• Schedule student appointments for medical and behavioral health services.
• Facilitate communication among LCHC, Lynn Public School, students, staff, nurses, parents, and SBHC staff.
• Monitor patient flow and maintain order; stock clinic supplies.
• Assist with referrals, insurance information, and follow-up on missed appointments.
