Job summary

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, current BLS certification, and at least one year of experience with children, plus the ability to travel between sites and interact with diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including possible evening sessions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dental Hygienist in the school-based program.
• Record clinical data and complete forms and logs as directed by the Hygienist.
• Maintain infection control and equipment logs.
• Escort students to and from treatment areas.
• Develop and review daily schedules with school staff.
• Order supplies and ensure equipment maintenance.
• Provide care management to students needing additional dental care.
• Limited chairside assisting and on-site infection control.
• Collaborate with program staff on related issues.
