Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based role in Georgetown, Colorado. The position is part-time with guaranteed hours and on-site support for the 2026-2027 school year.

You will work under a licensed OT to provide services, implement IEP goals, and collaborate with school staff, families, and therapists. A strong emphasis is on documentation, data collection, and progress reporting; licensure and NBCOT credentials are important, with

Qualifications

• Must have an associate's degree from an accredited OTA program and Colorado OTA licensure.
• NBCOT certification preferred and active licensure.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based therapy is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills are essential.
• Proficiency with documentation and school-based data collection is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group OT services.
• Implement IEP goals and intervention plans.
• Address fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-motor, self-care, regulation and school participation skills.
• Collect data and monitor progress.
• Complete therapy documentation and contribute to progress reports.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, therapists, and special education teams.
• Participate in IEP/team meetings as appropriate.
• Communicate with supervising OT on a regular basis.

Education

Associate's degree from an accredited OTA program

NBCOT certification (preferred)

Active Colorado OTA licensure

Pediatric or school experience

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Good organization and time management

Comfort with technology and documentation

Ability to complete required background clearances
