TheraPeds Partners is hiring a school-based COTA for the 2026–2027 school year in Georgetown, Colorado. You’ll work under supervision of a licensed OT to help students build functional skills for greater participation at school.

Elementary through High School | On-site | $35–$45+/hour

TheraPeds Partners is hiring a school-based COTA for the 2026–2027 school year in Georgetown, Colorado.

This is a full-time opportunity with guaranteed hours, dedicated documentation and planning time, OT supervision, and support from both TheraPeds and the school district.

The Role

You’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help students build the functional skills they need for greater participation and independence at school.

• Provide individual and small-group OT services
• Implement IEP goals and intervention plans
• Address fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-motor, self-care, regulation, and school participation skills
• Collect data and monitor progress
• Complete therapy documentation and contribute to progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, families, therapists, and special education teams
• Participate in IEP/team meetings as appropriate
• Communicate regularly with your supervising OT

Qualifications

We’re looking for a COTA who has:

• An associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program
• Current NBCOT certification (preferred)
• Active or eligible Colorado OTA licensure
• Pediatric or school experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Good organization and time management
• Comfort with technology and documentation
• Ability to complete required background clearances

Physical Requirements

School-based therapy is active and hands-on. The COTA must be able to safely participate with students in a variety of school environments and activities. Physical responsibilities may include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, transitioning to and from the floor, and lifting or assisting with students, materials, or equipment as appropriate to the position.

All responsibilities will be performed in accordance with assigned duties, district safety requirements, and applicable accommodations.
