Job summary

Soliant Health seeks a licensed COTA to serve students near Dearborn Heights, MI, contract role with virtual OT supervision. You will deliver direct services and support 32 students’ growth under an OT supervisor.

Collaboration with teachers, families, and related service providers is essential, with daytime hours (32.5 per week) and a focus on functional skills, fine motor, and self-help development.

Qualifications

• Current COTA certification.
• Experience in school settings or pediatric therapy preferred.
• Ability to deliver interventions individually and in small groups.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Strong organizational skills for documenting and communicating.
• Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services as outlined in student IEPs under OT supervision.
• Support development of fine motor, sensory processing, and self-help skills for a caseload of 32 students.
• Collect data and document student progress.
• Adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs and goals.
• Consult with teachers and participate in IEP meetings.
• Communicate with parents and school staff about progress and recommendations.
• Maintain all paperwork and follow procedures for compliance.
