Job summary

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated COTA/OT to support students district-wide in a comprehensive school-based program. The position is full-time and contract-based, starting August 27, 2026 for approximately 12 weeks with potential extension.

You will deliver occupational therapy services across Pre-K–12, develop and execute individualized plans, and document progress under OT supervision. Collaboration with educators and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut COTA license/certification or valid Connecticut OT license.
• NBCOT exam completed (for COTAs).
• School-based experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Pre-K–12 students with varied needs and backgrounds.
• Reliable transportation for district-wide service.
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and IEP teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy and support to students as outlined in their educational plans.
• Collaborate on individualized student goals.
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation on student progress.
• Adapt therapeutic activities to meet individual student needs.
• Participate in team meetings to optimize student outcomes.
