Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based role in Colorado Springs, CO. This full-time position starts ASAP through May 2027, with a steady school-year schedule and opportunities to support student goals.

You will provide OT services, assist in IEP goals, collaborate with teachers and SPED staff, and maintain timely documentation. We offer competitive pay up to $45+ per hour, W-2 employment with benefits, and licensure/CEU reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active (or eligible) Colorado COTA license.
• CDE Certification or ability to obtain.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based OT services and treatment.
• Support student IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, SPED staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development.
• Maintain timely documentation and progress notes.
• Adapt activities and materials to support student access and participation.
