Job summary

Invo Healthcare is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based services team in Mount Vernon, WA. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, providing sensory integration and motor skills support to students as part of their IEP. Applicants must hold an active state licensure as a COTA.

Qualifications

• Active state-level licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required.
• Experience in school settings or with children is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work under supervision of an Occupational Therapist and contribute to IEP goals.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide sensory integration and motor skills support.
• Support students in developing independence in daily tasks.
• Participate in IEP team discussions and contribute to educational plans for OT concerns.
• Communicate with teachers, administrators and parents to implement appropriate programs.
• Maintain client records and ensure services comply with state laws and regulations.
