Job summary

ProCare Therapy in California seeks a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support students in a collaborative school setting. The contract role offers a flexible schedule with 15 hours per week, Aug 2026 through Jun 2027, and competitive pay with benefits.

You will assist the Occupational Therapist, deliver OT services aligned with IEP goals, document progress, and work with educators, parents, and other therapists to promote student participation and access to curriculum.

Qualifications

• Licensed California COTA in good standing.
• Experience in school-based settings is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists.
• Commitment to professional standards and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services aligned with IEP goals.
• Document session notes and progress timely.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support curriculum access.
• Participate in IEP reviews and team meetings.
• Provide adaptive equipment recommendations or environmental modifications.
