Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license active and in good standing.
• Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Collaborative mindset, eager to work alongside OTs and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions as outlined in student IEPs under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Collaborate with the OT and other staff to support students functional skills and independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and outcomes.
• Develop creative strategies and activities to enhance students participation in school routines.
• Support inclusive practices within the classroom and school setting.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress.
