ProCare Therapy in Irvine, CA seeks a dedicated COTA to provide occupational therapy in a school setting on a contract basis, 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

You will support IEPs, collaborate with therapists and teachers, and adapt interventions to meet every student’s needs, while maintaining careful documentation.

Qualifications

• Current COTA license in California.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication with teachers, staff and families.
• Ability to tailor intervention strategies for diverse student needs and learning styles.

Responsabilités

• Support implementation of IEPs by delivering targeted occupational therapy services.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth.
• Assist with evaluations and documentation, tracking progress and adapting plans.
• Educate staff and families on strategies and accommodations for student participation and success.
• Maintain thorough and timely records with adherence to confidentiality and compliance.
