Job summary

Union School District in San Jose, California seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 0.4875 FTE position (~19.5 hours/week). Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapy services to students in classrooms across sites and assist with day-to-day therapy duties.

You will support treatment plan implementation, contribute to data collection, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and the Health care team.

Qualifications

• 1 year full-time experience implementing occupational therapy plans.
• Certification by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board as a COTA.
• High school diploma or equivalency or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students.
• Assist the therapist with data collection and IEP preparation.
• Support development and implementation of treatment goals.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating therapy sessions with classroom teachers.
