Job summary

HealthPro Pediatrics in Fresno, CA is seeking a School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a collaborative pediatric team. This W-2, full-time position offers $40-$45 per hour and year-round benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and CEUs.

You'll work with students to implement individualized therapy plans, monitor progress, and educate families in a supportive, interdisciplinary setting across school-based, outpatient, and pediatric services.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited school.
• Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) through the NBCOT.
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a COTA.
• Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Treatment: Deliver individualized therapy under the plan developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Progress Monitoring & Documentation: Track patient progress and maintain records per policy.
• Collaboration & Patient Education: Work with interdisciplinary teams and educate families on exercises and adaptive strategies.
• Therapeutic Activities & Support: Lead or assist with exercises and activities of daily living to promote independence.
