Amergis Educational Staffing seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in a school setting in Chino, CA. Under OT supervision, provide therapy, assist with assessments, and document services to help students develop fine motor and self-help skills.

Qualifications

• Current certification/licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• One year of OTA experience preferred; pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement OT treatment plans under supervision of an OT.
• Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups.
• Assist with standardized assessments and data collection.
• Document student progress and therapy services accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with teachers, SPED staff, and families to support student goals.
• Support students in fine motor, sensory, self-help, and school participation skills.
• Maintain compliance with school, state, and professional standards.
